How many bottles of champagne
for 100 guests?
To serve one 12.5 cl glass to 100 adults who want champagne, the calculation gives 17 bottles of 75 cl, rounded up. For two glasses under the same assumptions: 34 bottles. These are calculation scenarios to adapt to your event.
Adapt it to your guests.
Count only adults who want champagne at the occasion you are planning. Arrange water and alcohol-free drinks separately.
Serving size and glass count are planning assumptions, not drinking recommendations.
100 × 1 × 12,5 cl ÷ 75 cl
Rounded up to a whole bottle. No extra margin is added and sufficiency is not guaranteed: confirm serving arrangements and terms with your merchant or caterer.

Why is the total guest count not enough?
Children and adults who do not drink champagne should not be included in this calculation. Distinguish a toast, the reception and the end of the meal. Serving arrangements, other drinks and guest preferences change the requirement.
How do glasses translate into bottles?
Multiply the participating adults by the glass count and serving size, then divide by 75 cl. Round up to a whole bottle. A bottle theoretically holds six 12.5 cl servings; spillage and serving variations can affect the actual result.
Should extra bottles always be added?
The calculator does not add a reserve automatically. Discuss serving arrangements and uncertainties with your merchant or caterer. If unopened bottles can be returned, get the conditions in writing before placing an order.
What budget should I give the merchant?
Include your total allowance including tax, estimated quantities, other wines required, location and date. Explain whether delivery must fit within the budget. The merchant confirms references and costs in their quote; Accord de Vignes does not sell a wine selection.
